Cylinder reversing valve. A lever operated rotary valve allows the cylinder rotation to be changed from clockwise to anticlockwise when changing spoil discharge side. the facility to alter the direction of the oil flow is fitted as standard by some flail arm manufacturers, check before specifying.
Deflector extentions. Offer extra control of spoil discharge from the machine. This is particularly important when spoil is being thrown towards the tractor. Both single and two stage deflectors are available with manual, or single ram hydraulic adjustment.
